I think it's a test anyway. I've been texting this girl for a few days, i've been with her to a few parties etc and im meeting with her tomorrow.

I text her and said, "i never replied to your last text because i feel asleep at 6pm" more or less along those lines. she replied with, "6?! even toddlers go to bed later than that haha" - more or less

I replied with "Yeah thats true. Although, i'm more cray than a toddler"

Cray is from a song and we have both used the word before in a funny conversation, if you don't know what it means. It means crazy.

she hasn't replied yet, did i pass or fail what i think was a test.?

What test? You needlessly texted her and she replied with a tease. Don't text her excuses for your behavior. Make her wonder what you are up to. Leave her curious. What you texted her shows that you are needy of her approval. Don't do this.

Don't ever apologize for something man! Especially for not sending her a text or replying!

This interaction is completely pointless. Every text you send should be working towards something - playful banter/inside jokes or inviting her somewhere. Nothing else really! This wasn't a test, this was just her responding, playfully.

What did you hope to achieve out of this?

What you should have said was...that depends on what you wanted to achieve. You're meeting her tomorrow, why not just lay cold til then? Or if you feel like texting her, text an inside joke or something.

But NEVER EVER apologize like that again! It shows, exactly what Pokee said, your need of her approval.

Should've either ignored her statement or agreed and made a joke out of it. "Yeah, I'm actually 3 years old, haven't I told you?". Traveler's right, too - you should've been working towards something, pointless interaction.
