I want some tips on how to save this one :p

This girl came into the bar I work at about 3 months ago. She is a friend of a colleague of mine. When we closed, she came up to me and told me how handsome she thought I was. So after closing time we met up at an afterparty. Turns out she has a boyfriend. Still, we ended up making out. This happened twice after that, but I then said I wouldn't keep doing this as long as she has a boyfriend.

2months later she is single. I send her a couple of casual txts, but no answer. This weekend she was at my bar again. Happy as ever! We made out, but then she said: I really like you, and want to have sex with you. But something you have said has hurt me, so that won't happen now.

What happened was that I was at a party with one of her friends, and he bet me that I wouldn't manage to fuck this girl in 3 months time. Drunk as I was and being just me and him I said: sure, let's bet 200$. It was just a stupid joke while drinking, but now it turns out he has told her, and she now thinks she is only a bet to me. Truth is, I like this girl, and am more than willing to maybe to more eith this girl than just fuck her. But, she thinks that is all I want and, understandably, is pretty pissed and dissappointed that I bet her :p

So, guys. How can I explain this to her in a way that makes her forget the whole thing so we can get back into business?

Sounds like she likes you too....but is testing you because she doesnt appreciate being a bet....So what to do, what to do....You could tell her that you were looking forward to getting to know her, blah blah....but You have to show her what she's missing....so let her see you pick up other girls, or at least having good times with other girls

Simple, tell her you like her and your friend said that he thought she would be bad for you..but tell her you didn't believe him. This will paint the friend as a liar about any bet. Ignore any bet thing.

problem is I already admitted to take the bet, but tried telling her it was just a joke. We made out again after I told her this, but later she sent me a text saying she wasn't sure what to believe, and that she was very disappointed.


So, I have to convince her that this bet was nothing really, just a stupid joke between two drunk guys...
