This is a simple, and yet an unncessary question that I had to ask. I usually sit in the back and tried making friends with girls in my class, and what happened is that they stop coming to class after couple of weeks into the semester. Then, I am usually sitting alone. But, there are girls sitting in the front and the middle with other girls and guys. I can sit there, but its hard to talk to them during class. I am not trying to sarge, but to make more female friends in class. So, does anyone know where to sit in lecture halls to make female friends, that are also studious and friendly? Some girls like to sit all the way, brushing against the wall, and its really hard to talk and socialize with them. Any ideas from college guys here?

Basically, as a girl is going into class or a lecture hall - be one or two people behind them as you follow them in. The BEST place to sit is right next to them. You do not really need to even talk to them. Just a small excuse to make chit chat here and there. This allows you to talk to them more OUTSIDE of the classroom.

You can then wave and say "Hey whats up. What did you think of our teacher? what an asshole right? she expects us to do ____ and _____" etc.

I do this all the time. And usually it leads to studying with them at their room - and usually leads to me sleeping over. I never failed at this.

In class - to flirt - I picked up this trick. I would draw on their paper such as "=]" and other things. Or say, "I wanna write something for you" and I'd draw on their hand like. "Hi :]". But you gotta make sure they're receptive to this first.

Well, I know that. I didn't ask for that. I meant where in the lecture hall, front, middle or at the back?

This is such a stupid question. People just seat randomly. Is not like girls gravitate to sit towards a certain side of class.

Just take candybar's advice. You can't really game in class during lecture. Only time is outside or if the class has group activity where everyone is force to socialize.

Sit where you can pay attention to the professor.

Yah, I guess I would just do that. I know the question is a little silly, but I still had to ask so that I can have a plan for my next semester. Its very hard to play games in class, so maybe I will try to befriend a girl, and see where it goes. But, thanks everyone for clarifying this on me.

if you haven't noticed yet, people who sit at the very back of the hall are the ones who are deciding whether they want to take the class, or even if they take the class, they tend to skip more often than the people sitting in front or middle.
so if you want to make friends who actually come to class every time and build up friendships over time, then middle might be good. because if you sit in the front, prof would notice you doing other activities, lol

This is the best advice I have gotten in this thread. I will religiously follow your suggestion. Thanks man.
