Yea, girls around 18- are more worried about social status than getting a good guy; if everyone sees her with a hot guy she feels better about herself, even if he beats her or something bad like that; they just want that approval. Afterwords they start looking for someone to settle down with (even if they don't actually do it) and what's a better quality for someone to settle down with, looks or personality? (it's personality for women, even if it might not be for you XD)
