So I met a girl at a recent non-profit charity event and things started off well. We flirted most of the night and I bought a few raffle tickets. She’s unemployed but has graduate degree from a great school. I email her a few days later with some cocky-funny teasing. She plays back including some winks. After mailing back and forth a few times, I notice she is trying really hard to get me to volunteer for the non-profit. It’s subtle but now it’s the focus of her emails.

It’s becoming obvious that she’s trying to use me for donations or volunteer time.

What is the best course of action?

This could be one of two situations -

1) She's playing you with the objective of getting you to participate in this charity.

2) She's just using the charity as a point of common interest between the two of you, seeing as she met you there, almost as an 'indirect' way of getting you without conveying interest.

Gauge her interaction with you and you should be able to determine which it is.
