I'm not dressing in a suit or anything, but I was thinking a vneck, then a flanel over it. Is that to dressy for mall game?

You might want to use your outfit as a sort of 'I'm in your tribe or the tribe you wish you were in" social cue (credit, someone else for that tribe concept).
