In the UK there's this TV show called Love Machine. Basically a dating show and it's usually only for sexy guys and girls.

They chose to ditch or date a guy and if they ditch they're usually asked why. A surprising number of hot girls say "he looks like a cocky person" or if asked what they are looking for quite a few girls have said "confident not cocky...I hate cocky". And these women are pretty damn hot most of the time. So guys were getting ditched purely because they looked cocky, they didn't even speak to them to see if they were or not.

Morale of the story: C&F is very over rated and should be used sparingly.
