I finished my first year of college and now I'm home for the summer. I come from a city of under 100,000 and I pretty much know every HB. This might sound good but it's really not. I've built up a pretty bad reputation in high school. I had AA and although I sort of new all the HB's I never really talked to them or anything. I somewhat got rid of my AA in college, however I think it was because it was a new start and the fact that I'm good looking and no one knew my background (of AA) helped the situation.

What should I do in this situation? I mean I know I'm going to have to start re approaching them in bars and at parties and stuff. But will it be weird if I use to be that kid with AA back in high school and vaguely talked to them. How can I use this to my advantage?

In your situation, I would start slowly. You got AA, thats bad. You need to get over this. Instead of PU girls, try to make friends with them and talk to them. You need to overcome this and get on the next level, before you can do cold approach and PU them.

My AA isn't as bad as it used to be ever since I moved into college. I think the fact that I got off to a new start really helped get rid of it. However I'm worried now that I'm back home where everyone already knows I'm shy it will be hard to approach.

If everyone knows you are shy, then you can change that perception. Luckily, its not like everyone knows that you raped 3 girls and killed 2 babies by kicking some pregnant woman in their stomach. If people see that you are talkative, then they will be friendly to you and assuming that you are cool to hang out with, they will like you. Try to meet and socialize with women and be their friends without getting stuck into LJBF zone, (there are things to avoid). If girls see that you are cool with other girls, then they will like you. If you are trying to PU girls in your area, start slow, be their friends, and then PU them. If you are like me and others, visit malls and then start a conversation and then PU them. The more you talk to girls, the easier it becomes. I am going to give you a secret in order to overcome your AA, girls and women are nothing but human beings and all human beings are animals, so women are also animals as well. Will you get scared to pet your fav. dog? No, because its an animal. So, it is with women, them and we men are also animals, there is no reason to fear. But if you are still scared, just try to casually talk to women in supermarket, like strangers, without trying to PU them. Then when you get better at this, you can approach and PU them very easily.
