Help needed from sober clubbers!

Hey guys, I literally just came back from clubbing like an hr ago totally sober. My major sticking point i realised is not approaching girls in bars or at the dance floor, (i do a lot of day game so i don't really have AA) but having a high energy level when dancing.
I felt that when i was sober tonight, i had some AA but approaching with a high energy level at the dance floor was really hard for me even though i tried forcing myself to pump myself up. Mainly my question is geared to, how to maintain a high energy level in a fun state when your sober??

I reckon a few RedBulls always are good. I also like to just dance at home a bit to music I like to get myself a little more uninhibited.

When you get into the club, I'd also recommend hitting the DF. Don't open any sets, just get to the centre and dance like crazy. Jumping is good! It'll put you in a stronger frame and let things flow more naturally, and you'll just feel more stimulated in the environment.

What I do is I go in the middle of the dancefloor and do a really silly dance but I don't give a fuck which shows i'm a confident guy and don't take myself too seriously.

Or I'd just randomly go to a group of girls with my hands in the air and shout something to them. For example pumpington suggested shouting "Group Kiss!" but I just go for something random and situational. Even if you get rejected you still get rid of your AA and people arround you like you cause they look for interesting things happening arround the club :wink:

I never run game drunk. Maybe stoned on occasion, but never drunk.

For me - my HIGH is the set itself. Whatever curve they throw... can I hit it? It's a battle between their ASD and my game.

That pumps me up in an of itself.

Had this problem myself a lot. But these days I just make sure I am the first guy on the dancefloor. I used to consider dancing crazy and don't giving a shit would work, but that is bs.

It's all inner game. I feel confident and happy not drinking and dancing relaxedly on the dancefloor, talking to friends or a wing. Just keep your body in an erect and welcome dancing motion that is in tone with the music, and you will get A LOT of approach invitations and will make your own approaches easier.

And yeah, sometimes you will get blown out. I have the feeling that clubgame is very fysical and the first impression has to be above a certain standard or your out. But the above thing helps a lot for that too.

Here it is about 9 PM, so I'm getting a shower and hitting the clubs too!

I've been doing club game sober for more than 15 years, you do not have to have that high energy level to hook up... You are focusing too much in having a high energy level/state, you do not need that. Focus more on read and logistic(look for my dtf girl threat here in the lounge), then wait for a song you really like and is conductive to kino/escalation lip sink 5-10 steps before you approach, make the approach look as accidental as possible from the front at a 35-45 degree angle...Now energy level slightly higher, do not look try hard, do not try to impress, dance and escalate in a way she is having fun, and getting turn on, none of that clown self amusement dances that the community advocates....

Oh yeh you shouldn't worry about not drinking. Feel superior bro, you probably go sober for good reasons be proud you don't need something to fuck you up in order to have fun!!!

I agree with this statement it doesn't hurt to know a few dance routines where as that will make you look different in the club than the rest of the guys that were head bobbing and waiting for a girl to come by their way and try to start grinding with them right off the bat and try getting them to dance along with you ever now and then they WILL and I repeat WILL act shy and say that they don't know how to dance because every girls default is to dance a cleaner version of stripper dancing. If you give them something that show you are different and that they will have fun hanging with you then you will have built comfort what you do after that is up to you

I don't think any of these replies have really addressed the core issue with being sober as opposed to being drunk.

Drinking: it's like artificial state booster, it's easy.


Sober: You have to be the one to boost your own state, no one else can do it for you. You do this through the actions you take. i.e; imagine you're drunk and what you would do when you were drunk.

If it's approaching a bunch of intimidating girls, go and do that. It will boost your state once you act through your own intentions.


Using a combination of positive emotions and being horny will bring out the absolute best in you. You'll be less resistant to approach, and do better each approach.

If you find yourself having trouble doing the first few approaches to get momentum, do this;

Positively frame everything, e.g;you think, look at that girl, i shouldn't approach her because i'm not good looking enough. Then Reframe it quickly and say the exact opposite, "That girl would love me to approach her, she wants my dick" and psyche yourself up until you have little resistance and you can go do it

Basically the only good thing being drunk does is to remove your inhibitions. That is, limiting beliefs. But it comes at the expense of you loosing some thinking speed, reaction speed and general awesomeness.

So basically, any positive effect being drunk gives you can be done better if you start removing limiting beliefs and start thinking about what of your inhibitions you wanna keep. Most of them are just things that you have been force fed when young. Remove all but the ones you believe in yourself.
