whats up everybody i just joined this forum in hopes i can get some advice on what to do in this situation/how to approach this girl/if it is worth it.. here is the background

-i'm really into this girl at my college where most of the students are commuters from the local area and do not live there
-i walk by her on the way to class twice a day where each of us are alone and i see her at lunch and the eye contact and signs are obvious were into each other
-the girl has lunch with some of her friends at the same time and same place i have lunch with my friends (both girls) and the girl sits relatively close to where we sit
-one of the girl i likes' friends who she sits with at lunch is in a class with one of my friends i sit with at lunch, and my friend told that girl i was interested in the girl but this friend told my friend that she had a boyfriend
-so the girls friend definitely had to have told her i was into her, and she knows i am at this point (this was wednesday)
-this past friday (im assuming the girl knows i like her now) on the way to class which is one instance where i walk by her and were both alone, i held the door to the building for her and she said thanks in a flirtatious kind of way and i smiled at her (this was real brief)

im just wondering what you guys think i should do..im really interested in approaching/meeting/getting to know this girl - i just cant figure out what way or how i should try to approach her because i feel like at lunch when shes with her friends it would be awkward for me to just go up to her table and say something and also when we walk by each other on the way to class there isnt much time either only a few minutes ..

let me know what you guys think about this or have to say i would greatly appreciate any input

Start with "hello"
and please, dude, don't think that eye contact and the signs are there she's obviously into you. If you just stare at her and never talk, you just seem creepy. Good luck!

thanks man and ya true, i am totally aware i could be wrong and that may be the case - im a good looking guy, im just shy with this type of thing especially when im really feeling a girl...and at this point id rather completely fail then never try...the girls i sit with lunch also agree with me that she gives off certain signs that seem like shes into me but still i dont know - for example she always walks in a certain path so that she walks by our table after getting food even has double taked at me etc. when clearly there is a more direct route to her table- well see i guess hopefully i have the courage
