Alright so I am in the army just got out of A two year relationship we were engaged I broke up with her tried to get back with her but acted afc it's been two months she is getting stationed at the same base I'm at I didn't talk to her for a month she hit me up with and excuse saying she was freaked out some one was texting her and she thought itnwas me I said no it wasn't me I made some small talk I'm doing most of the talking and she has not repliedmback to my last text I was letting her know how the base was anyways I am venting a little I'm going out tonight I want to get as many numbers and make alot of female friends tonight but my confidence is in the gutter right know just need some advice on how to be more social how I use to be i have accepted that we won't get back together to and know it would be wrong to get back together with her thx for the advice guys

Control your emotional state. You will die one day. Think of this and realize that you have to take things as they come. Obviously, this affects you. But if you're in this negative mood and mindset, dwelling, you give this vibe out in your conversation. Anything you say to try to MAKE yourself happy will not work and come off as creepy or almost...try-hard.

Be happy now...realize things can end tomorrow...and appreciate it.
