This one is probably used widely and well known. But for the shy and reluctant types (like me) its worked well.
So theres me and a couple of friend, we're dressed nice ready for the night. The first bar we hit, we mingle with the crowd, chat a while then disperse in twos (fortunatley for me i took the better looking one out of all of us) and as luck provided it wasn't until 10 minutes later i baited my good friend to the fish and they came swooping in! Chit chat wasn't too hard. by this time i had another alcohol to have calmed the nerves and enlightened the perceptions but i scored a number and a kiss. [My general BIG issue is providing the chit chat, ANY TIPS IS GREATLY APPRECIATED. The simple "How are you?" "What do you do?" its used too much is there another way to make a better impression?)
After that bar and witnessing the catch, we had our egos boosted. The other two came back empty handed and so after socring in one bar we moved to the next. By this time i felt ready as ever, but simply approaching and sparking the chat wasn't there. My words fell, my ideas left the brain and i was a vegetable. I didn't even have a script anymore, i quickly resorted to a backup plan as it was my time to be the lead man.
This is the Camera Trick (or another name is used im sure) But it works well for first timers! Have the group of you ready and look for the target. Your wanting a picture and your wanting her. When finding her don't give her a chance to move away or even refuse. Simply walk up, oblivious of the nerves and think of having balls of steel. Switch on the alpha male and simple place it in her hand "Can we have a picture please?" regardless of her wanting to or not she will have to (On the extreme rare occasion she'd say no) i also found it easier to approach the girls in a group and give only the target the camera.
Let her take a quick snapshot and only you have a view. Regardless of it being a good or bad shot, tell her your not satisfied and have another. If your feeling brave invite her friends, not her into a shot only. Isolate her from the group, im sure this can be classed as a neg. Request a few shots with you, your friends and hers! After being blanked take back the camera from her and still play the ass, it isn't good enough. "But how about you and me? That could be a good picture. Whats your name again?" - Result. She 8 out of 10 times always obliges. From there move onto small talk. You should have Neg, isolated then moved in to the point where small talk and a number can be aquired.
It may not be for everyone, but for first timers like me it helped! hope this helps you guys!
