So last night I struck out hard. I did try a few times. The first time I walked over to two women and started chatting, I asked them why it was so dead etc. I don't know if conversation got stale but they "had to get drinks" so I took that as a sign to get lost; whatever... I then walked over to a group of 5 girls from a previous bar and said something like, "Oh, so I see you decided to switch bars, good choice" or something lame. They basically were curtious to me but I could sense they weren't interested so I left. My last ditch effort, I walked over to a group of three girls and an old 80's song came on, I asked them if the group was salt and pepper and they said yea and they were cold to me so I walked away. I actually felt as if they were bitching or something (to each other) for asking them as I was walking away, might have all been in my head. Bottom line, I either have no game or am that unattractive. I don't know what else to do, I was dressed ok, I wasn't that weak during my approach, I wasn't drunk and although my lines were lame, I figure they could have been at least receptive to conversation which most of them weren't. Where am I going wrong? I was solo, I thought maybe that had something to do with it. I'm trying to figure out if this is my game/approach or something physical.

Maybe you try to hard? I personally go to clubs/bars to have fun with friends not to pick up. And as a result of that I typical end up with some chick.

Well, you say you end up with girls but you must at least try?

If you're not using disqualifies, then it's clearly apparent that your intentions are to pickup. You're essentially giving them all of your initial value. This is a terrible position to start off in.

If your conversations are staling, then your game isn't dynamic enough. What are you bringing to the interaction? How are you different from the 40 other guys that already approached them that night?

You were solo, I am guessing your energy was really low.

This is true, but make sure your energy is higher then there. Have good body language. Project your voice. Don't worry too much about your looks.

Will try to keep this in mind. Since I am now 30 and don't have many single friends anymore it is a challenge, my roomate doesn't even try and he is only 24...won't go downtown with me, I even offer to buy him drinks....
