New to this shit. In my very early 30's. I've known this girl off and on for a long time. Recently we started hanging out again. Lots of fun. She talks about her two other fucked up relationships that are now overseas. Also tells me about her internet dating. I feel there is chemistry. But I dont know what the fuck is going on in her head. Can I ask like hey what the fuck, are we friends are we sniffing each others asses to see if there is more then this, or is that a mistake?

seems like you got enough trust in her for you.if she talks more about her past and boyfriend things any more longer, you might end up in a friendzone.
She may be sending you a signal that she wants to be in a relationship and hoping you that you like her too. so you better take some steps soon, what i suggest.
and remember there's always a reason behind if she is talking about something.she wont talk about it for no reason.

if you want to figure out if she wants to have sex with you, quickest way is to try to have sex with her, escalating things towards sex will tell you really quickly how she feels about it, and you don't have to directly say it or anything or ask her, just put her in a situation condusive to the two of you having sex and attempt to create that situation, if she will allow this to take place

she is either interested, or not interested, and a long time frame without any romantic intent towards each other does not work in your favour

As a noob i learned one good thing from Mystery never let girls spew their emotional garbage on you. The moment the girl starts talking to you about her emotional distress and problems just change topics and talk about something better. If you don't you will turn into a friend. And as pump said just be persistent and pursue what you want. If everything comes out good then you scored. If things get fucked up you scored also because you just stopped wasting your time on this girl and therefore can move on.
