| Gentlemen (well... some of you),
I'm new to the board but I've been doing the whole PUA thing for a little while now (longer than I care to actually think about...). I wanted to post this in a different area, but there's a minimum post count to post there, and I can respect that.
Anyhow, I usually have plenty of success, only a little approach anxiety, and in general - I get my way.
The Background:
I'm a musician - I'm on stage a lot. I work this with this band that gets plenty of work, enough for me to make a living. When I first joined this band, I noticed one of our vocalists was into me. She's normally a pretty bitchy personality, but with me she was much more feminine, a little flirty, etc. I hadn't considered her... but there was no way in hell I was going to say no.
Did I mention she's married? Oh... well she's married. Now everybody knows that this isn't necessarily going to shoot you down... case in point:
After a gig one day we were all pretty drunk... "In vino veritas", as the Romans say, and she let slip her unhappiness in her marriage, her interest in me, bla bla bla, you get it. Wake up the next morning with her in my bed. This SHOULD be the happy ending.
Two days later at a rehearsal I catch myself staring at her. Fuck it all - I came down with one-itis. I'm looking to score her without the booze - a fair game, if you will. I was met by some ASD on her part when we had a little "chat" the next day, but her body language with me hasn't changed, she's clearly still interested.
So gentlemen, I either need to get passed this one-itis or scratch this damn itch. Thoughts?
