Sorry, newbie here

Why would a girl do this? She was fairly attractive so I didn't know what to believe. Why would she tell me this at the bar in a club.

Well it depends on the situation. There might be several reasons.

Reason
1) She wanted to see how you react.
2) She was religious and didn't want to have sex until marriage.
3) She was drunk.
4) She wanted you to help her lose her virginity.

But the reason why she said what she said shouldn't matter to you. Just project your frame on to her. Act like you don't give a fuck if she's a virgin or not and just want to fuck her. Girls want sex as badly as guys do but they need someone to blame for that so that they don't look bad. So give her that excuse.
