Hey guys,
So most stories here about people getting over approach anxiety included some "loophole" which let them approach despite their fear. Meaning that up until the moment they discovered the loophole they wouldn't approach.
For instance, "what's the worst that could happen" is one of the common loopholes that I've read.

So in the hopes of finding mine.....

What's yours?

By loophole do you mean some method of overcoming AA?

The three second rule was always good for me, 'what's the worst that can happen' as you said is a good one, I call it the 'Dr Pepper Philosophy' 8)

My personal favourite is to make eye contact, smile, have the smile returned, and then walk over. Possibly called a 'warm approach' I can't remember, been out the game for so long!

I usually ask a few people the time or for directions just to get myself warmed up, my voice sounding confident etc. But yeah, the world isn't going to end and I'm not going to die if I get rejected
