So, I was in college with a couple of guys from my class (I like them but they are really nerds and saying a lot of nerdythings, pure DLV), we were in the library and this cute chick from our class was also there(she was in a table next to ours and there's only 3 girls in our clss btw), we were studying and didn't have some lists that we needed, so I took vantage of that to go there and try to score something, well, maybe not score but I really wanted to talk to her.
ME:Hey
HB:Hi
Me:What's your name?
HB: HB.
Me:My name is Corretor, pleased to meet you.
And from there I just went full beta, talking kinda fast and only about the lists, made a little joke about her answers because they were all right and went back to my table.It was a real shitty approach, I don't know even if it counts as one.Should I even bother?I think she is interested in this other guy, and she must think I'm a loser because I'm not that fun guy in class, or in the last time she saw me talking to other people.

Don't assume that your friends' nerdy discussions are DLVs. Focus on having fun with them instead of worrying about how they make you look. Remember that a leader of nerds is still a leader of men. I don't care if you guys are planning a mock battle with replica armor and foam swords out in the middle of the town square, if you're having fun in the conversation and your body language is strong, you'll draw any woman's attention. (ps. that's the nerdiness thing that I can think of. If you guys can think of something to top that, please bring it to light).

Did your set go as planned?

No. But that's ok. You opened, be proud of yourself. Plan for the next time you see her and have fun. Whether she is interested in another guy or not is irrelevant. Your foot is in the door, now proceed like a PUA.
