The big problem, I really don't have a good one. I guess I could start going out more with the guys in my office, but a lot of them are much younger than I am and act completely drunk and retartded...I'll give them credit, it works for them, but I'm way passed that.

My one other divorced friend is the WORST wingman, but I actually have picked up a few chicks with him, not the greatest, but I still got laid and he didn't. My question, is this guy trainable? I guess I got to give you some background.

He is a big guy, and I don't mean muscular, like 6' 3" and oafish, he dresses ok, a little waspy boring but he can pull it off. He is, I feel bad saying this because he's a friend, but so not-cool - its like his mind is set in the '50s. His got a good set of hair, I'll give him that. The best way to describe him, is he is exactly the Dan Akroyd character in Trading Places, minus the cash.

So me, I'm 5' 9", I'm a lot better looking, I dress a lot better, I'm more normal, for lack of a better word, and, like I said, I closed a few with him.

The good thing about him, he will talk to frigin' anyone. He may talk about the most boring crap in the world, but he's got balls, I'll give him that, he will chat up any girl and has no problem not backing off, even to the point of it being creepy. I'll usually clean up with one...

So the problem? He'll frigin' CB you?!?!? You'll be chatting one of the girls and he'll bust in our game to try and steal her, and he has no frigin shot in hell! Or even worse, or just as worse, when he goes off on of his tangents like Winston Churchill or trains, you can't get him to shut up about them! I don't know how many times he has messed things up for me with hot chicks because he decided to butt in and start trying to impress her with his knowledge of the Union Pacific RR!

The funny thing, he does score from time to time, more than you'd think, I also think a lot with solo game. I've met some of these girls and for him, I've actually been impressed, somewhat....

Anyway, I wrote this guy off as a wingman, am I being too harsh? Should I re-visit this with him? Is there a chance I can work this so he can open with hot babes and I simply close the deal? (I used to have a buddy like this, funny, fat kid, he open I'd close...kind of sucked for him I guess though... )
