Always do things in person, and when that's not possible, do it through a phone call. Texting is like a trap and serves no purpose other than to fuck yourself over. You can take very few steps forward with texting, but can easily take several steps back with it.

| Offline | | New to MPUA Forum | Joined: Wed Mar 21, 2012 3:02 pm Posts: 5 | | im really new to this so i dont really know much, but i will respectfully disagree with Snarg. i recently read a short ebook on texting dynamics and it was quite good and insightful.. it was geared towards females (written by a male), but the same principles pretty much apply to the male. there are many advantages (and disadvantages) to texting. an advantage is that e.g. you can play with time. based on the flow of your interaction through texts you can actually entice your target (in a push and pull way so that you can be on top of the game) by being aware of the effects the time intervals between the texts, depending on context. a disadvantage would be e.g. misunderstandings with texts that were meant to be playful but could be read the wrong way (because of the lack of the effect of tone of voice, body language etc.), but that can usually be easily avoided by emoticons (as long as theyre not excessive and overused). _________________ derp

Conversations are better carried out by phone calls than texting. Texting can get rather dry but you can control when you send the text, so there is a time lapse that will keep her anticipating your texts. Usually I text normally the way I carry conversations in person. I don't have much on the topic, so hopefully someone will contribute more than I could.
