Confidence is KNOWING that you're all that...cockiness is seriously broadcasting that you're all that.
Many may also disagree and say that you have to be cocky or it just naturally comes with higher value and success, but I think the true Alpha Males recognize that they're the shit instead of going about telling everyone openly. Hence, confidence not cockiness.
