i dont know much about PUA, but i have skimmed through about 2 different books (the game and double ur dating).

theres this girl i want to date, shes in the same medical school as me, but is 2 years older. I briefly met her at a function the other day but we didnt talk much.

How can i go about what to do next? I could easily add her on FB now, or should I wait till I see her in person again and talk to her properly and try establish rapport or something?????!

I do not like Facebook at all. Avoid it. To me, it's worse than texting - it has a low chance of helping you and a high chance of hurting you for reasons too numerous to list here. A lot of people will argue with that, but I'm just speaking from my personal experience.

Approach her and open with something casual, it should be easy since you're both in med school. See how things go with the conversation, and if you think things are going well and she is comfortable with you, have her get some coffee with you or something.

That is the mind set that's gonna screw up any chances of you hooking up with this girl.

what do u mean? and also as she is in an older year, i barely will get to see her. As in ill be lucky to see her once a week, and i doubt she will be by herself. so what do i do if she is with one of her girlfriends etc.

go up to her

talk to her, get to know her, figure out the sort of things she likes to do, put her in a good mood, invite her out to do something outside of school that you both would enjoy,

this most likely ends with her agreeing (I would say about 80% of the time you get a yes)

now from here she will give you her number,
now what happens is you can spend a few hours for one or two days building more rapport over text if you are really lacking in it, but after that, just fall off and don't text her so much, let her come to you if she wants to, and let her know you will call her to hang out,

now on a side note, if just before the day she texts/calls you to let you know she can't make it due to random excuse, then don't get butthurt or worried, just wait it out hit her up after a few days, invite her out again,

3 excuses in a row, move on she is not interested at the current time, you can keep her in your phone, but don't expect anything from her, as she is in flake mode

if a girl is in flake mode, or seems really dis-interested in you when you first have a conversation and doesn't like the idea of hanging out with you outside of school, then just forget about it and go talk to other girls and do that same thing
