Hey, just a short question.

I have had a girl friend for over three months now. She's loving, passionate, sexy, funny -- I really like her. Her birthday is coming up and I wanted to buy her (us) a book on sex. I've looked through amazon and there's really a lot to choose from. I'm 19 and she will be 18, we're both eachother's firsts. She's is willing to try a lot of things and she's really on the kinky side, as well.

I do NOT want:
- a book to get you 'out of a rut'. We're having great sex already, I just want to try more and let her know I like it how she is adventurous.
- a book on 'maintaining good marital sex'.
- a book on a specific subject like tantric sex, or how to have multiple orgasms.

I DO want:
- a lightheared, fun book we can read together and try new things
- focuses on sex life in general, not specific things.

Thanks in advance!

Buy a book on different types of sex toys and slowly work your way through the book.

Here's a good one (it also has more general information that would be fun to read through with your girlfriend) : http://www.amazon.com/Many-Joys-Sex-Toy ... 0767916808

It's an amazon link so you can read some of the reviews for yourself.

I took She Comes First right off the internet, thanks for the tip. Will read!

On the toys book, it looks great, its lightness is exactly what I'm looking for, but I have never used toys before and I'm not sure if I want to yet... I'm only just figuring out 'toyless' sex, haha. What is your opinion on toys? (I realise this is a whole different discussion).

Thanks for the suggestions so far!

I bought a bullet to play with on my ex. She just wanted my cock inside her though.

She did say when we split up that the idea of being tied up turned her on as she has no control.

Also bought some of this cream that shrinks the clit, she said it made sex different in a good way.

My girlfriend mentioned tieing up as one of her fantasies as well! I'm not sure how to practically do that, though. Maybe I should buy one of those handcuffs (and that would be my first sex toy as well :P)

Any more suggestions on books, anyone?

p.s. "She Comes First" is already a great read (I'm page 20ish as well now)

To keep it short, I'm a big fan of anything that adds variety in the bedroom. I have a very large toy collection and I use them fairly frequently. I find it helps to keep my girlfriend excited about sex.. she just never knows what she's going to get from day to day. One day I'll tie her up, the next I'll use the hitachi wand, the next I'll use a vibrating cock-ring.. well, you get the idea. Variety is important for a healthy sex life.

Since you are still figuring out the basics, you should probably just file this idea away for now. In the meantime, try and find a good book on G-spot stimulation techniques.

Okay, here's some great beginner bondage stuff:

Awesome book on the subject: http://www.amazon.com/Screw-Roses-Send- ... 0964596008

Excellent restraint set that fits under your mattress (well made and fairly inexpensive): http://www.extremerestraints.com/bedroo ... _4937.html

If you want something simple, then don't get handcuffs.. get non-stick tape. It's effective and you can just cut or tear it off when you're finished. Most handcuffs made for S&M are stupidly easy to get out of and very often uncomfortable for the wearer (they bite into people's wrists): http://www.amazon.com/1-roll-Black-Bond ... B001CBK2KO
