Ok, girl I'm seeing, she is more of a relationship girl but we are not girl/boyfriend yet... I'm at uni. I behaved like an afc (silly silly me!) and showed (even though i tried not to) that i get jealous. she does it with this certain guy, and I am certain she does it. I just want tips on how to show that it's not working, or that i am better than him. if she talks about him what do i do? do i become more of his friend in front of her, do i big him up like i love him? do i amog destroy him? (i dont think i can amog destroy him as it seems like im trying too hard to put him down.. just my thoughts!)

If a girl tries to make you jealous, just remember, she's doing it to try to play the game with you. If she's doing it right in front of you, start talking to another friend and make a few jokes to get your friend laughing with you. This will show her that you're not even paying attention and her actions are insignificant. The fact that you're smiling and laughing will display full confidence.

If she brings him up, give her a huge smile and, teasingly, tell her she should pursue him. It'll be obvious that you aren't going to fall for her games and she'll probably cut that bullshit out permanently. Make sure you don't try to put him down though. If anything, compliment him.

A lot of people might tell you to try to change the subject and avoid talking about this kind of thing, but that really is not an effective strategy at all.
