Background :I got the number of this 40 year old cougar on OKC sometime in Jan.. However we haven't been able to meet her so far.. Last month we had a date scheduled.. I always send the girl a text an hour before the date just to make sure that I don't travel to Washington DC only get a flake (I live in College Park which is 25 min by DC Metro) .. She was late in replying and hence I went to the gym only to see a text after I came back.. Then she told me over text that she is going out of country for a vacation and we should meet once she is back.. In fact so far she has been the one who has been suggesting getting together..

Problem Statement :
Anyway last week she texted me again ( an IOI ?) asking if I am available... Anyway I said that I am available this Wednesday and suggested getting together in the evening.. I have not found any free event in DC on this Wed (5/16)..
Can you guys please suggest me a good place to take this cougar to ? I am really uncomfortable and totally suck in dates in upscale bars with all those tall chairs.. (Two girls invited me to meet at Vinoteca on U. St. and I just couldn't go past D1 as I was too uncomfortable) as there was very little chance for physical contact once we sat down..

Guys, suggest me a good location (general location or specific one in DC) and a strategy.. I have been going through some cougar lay reports and as far as my understanding goes one needs to be very physical with them right from the beginning.. How should I dress for dates with cougars ? Probably I will be going straight from my lab in school ? Is normal dress that I wear to school good enough or should I wear something different ?

P.S. Upscale bars are out of my reach as I am a student living on shoestring budget now..

Take her to one of the DC attractions and WALK with her. I'd suggest the Mall, see the capital, walk the park there...

As for dress - button down shirt, solid color, long-sleeve, faded jeans, and black shoes.

Don't caveman her if you don't feel it - you'll look like a nervous kid making a stupid play. Always stack stories to ensure conversation flows the entire time. If you kino escalate, you'll know all you need.

Ahh, in all my dates so far I had been wearing a pair of jeans, basketball shoes and a tee ! Maybe that is the reason why I haven't been getting laid as consistently as I would have liked.. Bombed the last two first dates !

Are dive bars good places to go to ? Those tall chairs in normal bars are fucking uncomfortable.. The plan so far is to pick a dive bar near to her home, have a drink, little bit of kino, suggest that we walk around a little bit, walk her home (more kino), get to her home (ask for a glass of water) and see how it goes ? I am going to be very direct and physical with this cougar.. I am not really hoping for an SNL, just trying to do well on D1 and fuck on D2..

Anyway, please feel free to critique me and advice if there is anything wrong with my thinking here.

Don't overthink it.

Dive bars are fine. Just KNOW the bar first. If it's a biker bar, and you're not a biker - bad move.

Don't worry about SNL... Be yourself. If she wants to fuck - fuck her! Most do. They don't have time for bullshit. But - it's not a robot - you have to read her signals and adapt appropriately.

Make it happen.
