So I was engaged we were together for two years I broke up with her we have not been together for a month she has been talking to her ex and hooked up with him I have been running a little game on her we are talking about getting back together And we both decided to not date anyone else or do anything else with anybody I told her that I don't want her to hang out with her ex anymore I said it was cool to talk to him as long as she shows me respect and I have noticed that she is texting him a good amount she is going from hot to cold with me also this is new for me cause we had a good relationship before the break up what should I do and how should I handle all this.

How long have you been talking to her since the breakup?

The basic plan for getting a second chance with an ex is:
1. No contact for 1-12 months
2. Improve yourself in every way possible
3. Reinitiate contact
4. Ask her out on a low pressure situation like coffee with an hour max date length
5. Go out with her again with perfect logistics to take her home and fuck
6. Enjoy her reignited feelings for you after sex
7. Continue stringing her along for sex until she can't help but fall for you
8. Let her be the first to bring up getting back together officially

The first 4 steps are surprisingly easy. I haven't had an ex yet that refused a date after a period of no contact. After that it gets harder. No contact is a must regardless, to help yourself get over her. Sticking around will just let her have her cake and eat it too.

STAY AWAY.

YOU ENDED IT. There was a reason. This relationship will not work. It will go from problem to problem more and more rapidly until it collapses.

When you break up with someone, it is permanent. That is a rule. Follow it.

Don't kid yourself. Drop your jealousy, stop thinking you have a right to tell her who to date, and let her see her ex. There's a reason they're exes too. (And don't you think she talks to him about you? She does.)

She has a safety net, you don't, and it makes you obsessed with her. It's not healthy for either of you. Move on.

I feel like Dr Phil. Don't be in that kind of relationship.
