So in the past I hit on this one girl who already has a bf. The bf found out but he's a dumb, emotional fuck who can't take it if another guy tells his girl that she's pretty. Anyways, I was with a group of people today and this chick that I know that likes me said that I told her she's pretty at first glance. Then this guy looks at me and says, "Ohhh shit! This bird-looking guy here? Oh he says that to every girl." I smiled and I put my arms out to the side and nodded my head calmly saying, "This bird-looking guy man.... " Then he said, "Dude stay the fuck off my girl." I then said, "Are you okay dude?" Then he got even more emotional and started saying, "Dude I will fuck your shit up. You are a piece of shit hitting on every girl, you loser." I said, "..Cool story bro.. ' while shrugging. Then this girl said, "Really? Wow, you are a player." Then EVERYBODY was looking at me. I said to her in a calm/humble/serious tone, "No, I'm not a player. I just happen to date and hit on a lot of girls until I find the right one." I said it with my eye lids lowered more than normal in a monotone voice. I then just grabbed my stuff and left going about my life as usual.

That's awesome! Thanks for sharing because the "player" question has been coming up a lot for me. I usually just smile and blush and take it as a compliment and it has never failed for me but yours is solid. I was thinking about this the other day and I came up with "I'm not a player, but I can efficiently determine wether or not a woman is the one and I'm on a mission to find her". Basically the same thing but I like yours better. I used to get offended and hate the word but then I was taught that girls like guys who are liked by other girls. So call ke a player if you like. I'm definitely using this next time it comes up.

I think you may have handled this just slightly incorrectly.

Great that you shook the whole thing off, but when the guy said "Oh he says that to every girl" he was calling you out on being dishonest. I don't know what I am, but it's definitely not dishonest. If I tell a girl she's pretty, I actually mean it, and I would have said so. When he got angry, I would have said "Congratulations, man. You've got a hot girlfriend, why are you mad about it?"
