Everything seems so much more simple now.

I finally see the importance of comfort. I used to think it was a risky part, as you may get friended. But once she agrees to a date, it's pretty much on, right?

I went on a date the other night, just for kicks. I had her laughing the whole time, was sexual, had kino. I could tell she was looking for more. Being the experimental guy I am, we just chatted by the car. She was getting close to me, but I just cut it there and said "Have a safe trip!" No number close, no kiss close, not even a hug.

I used to think that attraction was the be all and end all. But, in my moment of "clarity", it seems that comfort out trumps attraction, no questions asked. Attraction is but a tool to get her alone, to create the comfort and the emotional connection.

I used to think that a pickup should take hours. That you should be creating attraction for hours, that you should be dhving constantly. But now it seems more like after the opener, you should be in attraction for about 15 minutes. After that it's comfort, comfort, comfort!

Perhaps my head is just clouded, or maybe I've achieved clarity.

Anyway, thoughts?

Fuck, there's so much shit out there. Some say this, some say that, in the end, if you listen to everything, you become a contradictory mother fucker.

Make a girl feel good, give her a sense of adventure, something to look forward to every time she speaks with you as an escape from her problems, if even just momentarily and she's yours. It's honestly that simple.

That it is, my friend. If only everyone made it sound that simple.
