How should I respond? How would you respond? Preferably a short one-liner that lets me exit in style.

Ignore it and push through
HB: I have a bf
You: Aw that's cute anyway
HB: I have a bf
You: I have rollerskates/bike(any sort of random object or thing)
HB: What?
You: Oh sorry I thought we were talking about things that don't matter
HB: I have a bf
HB: AWWWW he's so lucky, I bet he treats you like a princes and does everything for you blah blah blah
>basically you build him up to impossible standards which will make her reevaluate him<
HB: I have a bf
You: OMG me too, I bet mine is better than yours
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE should you ever bash the bf because that will have serious backlash.
Hope that helps.
*edit* sometimes when they mention a bf he probably doesn't exist and it's just a shit test.
HB: I have a bf
You: Oh yeah what's his name, what does he do where does he go (school wise)
HB: uuuh
You: A see you're lying to me! Why would you lie? I am so hurt, We can't continue if we start this out by with lies and mistrust (in a playful manner) _________________ Suriyel - According to the Book of Enoch, Suriyel was one of the leaders of angels who lusted after the daughters of men.

Not to be ungrateful, but what's a good all-around non-dickish response -- that is, something I could say to a women in a non-bar setting, like at a coffee shop or mall, where the game isn't on.
I want a cool response that doesn't convey jealousy and lets me exit in style.

It's also nice because your not vocalizing about the bf, so if she doesn't have one she'll forget about it in 2 seconds; if she does have one she'll forget about it _________________ To game at your best you have to be willing to do your worst.

I just did a google search of the forum for similar threads. Here are some nice ones:
1. Just one? You sure you don't have room for one more?
2. Well, I'm glad you got someone to be around when you're not chatting with me.
3. Oh yeah? What's it like being in a perfect relationship?
