I don't deny the benefits of meditation and visualization, but The Secret is straight bullshit.

Im with you on this one.. I am half way through the book but am aware of what happens when you put it into practice.
The book and film are tools to make money so its very easy to see why people can hate it, but it shouldnt be confused with the fact that it works..

Perhaps tell us what you have been doing and the results you have been getting?...

Well I just manifested a lottery win last night...i tried it for the heck of it

Really? Where are these purported facts other than anecdote? Come on now, there's no empirical evidence to suggest this cockamame product works. I swear there's a sucker born every second.

I'm with papichulo818 in this. Meditation and visualization may have benefits (or so i've been told, never actually tried it ou myself) bu The Secret is pure bullshit.

And forgive me if i'm skeptical on the lottery thing. Basically what you are saying is that if I focus positive thoughts in winning the lottery I will win. Seriously man, it simply does not work this way.

I think it is best to believe that results come from actually doing something. Example: go out and think as much as you want that girls will come and talk to you, but do not approach any of them. If it happens let me know.

Well the lottery and money thing is complete BS but I don't think the secret is useless. If you go with it it can be a pretty good positive reinforcement exercise. I read it and I'm an extremely sceptical person. I just let myself go and ignored the voice of reason in me lol and you can get results from it. That said there are also tons of other things that will serve the same purpose, it's just basically meditation. I was pretty hyped at first when I read it because I wanted to change so badly, then I realized that I'm mostly fooling myself. I still believe though that if you can fully adopt the mindset in the book it can be really useful. Just shut out the voice that keeps telling you how silly it is hah.

They actually will come ask you to have sex when you get good... Keep it up dude you seem to be on the right track..

Think of it like this, the primary reason women get approached so much is the abundance mentality they have regarding men. They're using "the secret" without even being consciously aware of it. Now when you learn to project out the energy that a hot chick produces, you will be getting the attention that a hot women gets.

Ok so this is how it is for me.. I have shagged alot of girls over the years but most of my gaming is either from online or from people I meet am introduced to. I never ever seemed to be able to meet a bird on a random Sat night and taker her back. Well maybe 3 times over the last 5 years.

I started using 'law of attraction' techniques and did a meditation excessive for being a 'sex magnet'. Within a month of doing it I got laid on 3 Saturday nights. Maybe a coincidence, but I am prepared to keep on hedging my bets on this horse.
