I met a girl in like November and got her number. First impression was not solid. I texted her maybe four times and called her once over a period of like two weeks to try to get a chance to see her again. No reply at all. Fuck this. Delete.

Last week I get a text from an unknown number saying something like "ooooh I just realized I met you from blah blah before a long time ago". I text back asking who it is and it's her. WTF really?! Why would I even be on her mind if she's completely ignoring me? Why is my number still in her phone? We text a little more, and I make sure she's the one to send the last text. Then yesterday I text her and she's back to ignoring me. Has anything like this ever happened? This is just bizarre. Would it have been smarter to just ignore her back after she identified herself or at least wait a looooong time before texting back?

Could be many reasons, but I'd bet dollars to donuts she's just in an attention lull (not getting enough attention from dudes) and is trying to buttress her ego by messaging guys she know will bite and give her the attention she needs. Attention is like a fuel gauge, sometimes it's running low for whatever reason and we need a bit of 'fuel'; women do this all the time, keeping guys at bay just to make them feel attractive again.

This is happening to me aswell. Met a HB at the clubs and now if I text she wont reply if she texts and i reply she'l send a couple messages then won't text back.

This is attention seeking. So I don't text her and let her text me. This way I don't have play her silly games

When I number close at a club I always will text once later that night saying something about what you both talked about or did that night. Then maybe a couple days later text again, and if she doesn't reply then I don't worry about it.
