Help with direct game?

Hey guys last night i opened 15-20 sets with direct game and i felt that i had good body language, tonality as well as emotion when opening.
Only problem was that the sets weren't hooking after me going direct and often gave me the cold shoulder or just walked away after me saying they were cute or whatever.
I need help with this, but rejection isnt a problem for me as it only makes me stronger.
Does anyone have this problem, after going direct they tend to get rejected or get a cold shoulder from the girl?

after you say that they're cute, make a statement/assumption about them, something about what they're wearing or carrying etc. this will then transition into conversation. if you can't think of anything just ask an open-ended question "What are you up to today?".
