Getting too smiley/excited, talking too fast

I'm usually a fairly shy guy, particularly given my non-existent track record with girls (zero #/k/f-closes), but I can come across as confident & witty sometimes, and make her laugh. Only problem is, especially if it's a pretty girl, I can get a bit overexcited that I'm actually in her presence and getting her attention. Then I think I get a bit too smiley, laugh too much (she laughs too), and start talking too fast. Is this going to be a big turn-off? If so, how can I control it?

honestly,

there are two ways you could go with that.

the first way is to try to learn to control/hide/mask your excitement so you can come across as smooth and in control.

however,

the second way is to learn to focus that "energy rush" you get from a really hot chick and channel it into escalating. you might be able to create an uber-sexual vibe and just roll with it.

It's very hard to control your emotions, they'll give you away.

This is actually a good advice.

Long term solution for this is to expose yourself as much as you can to these situations, improve yourself as a whole. And one day you'll find yourself in a club and you'll be looking in hot girls eyes from a few inches and stand there in silence and be totally comfortable with yourself. And you'll know that you deserve that kinda girl. You'll feel worthy.

I use to have this problem. Honestly, I think it's better then getting nervous. Shows that your having fun talking to girls. But is bad for sexually escalating and it lowers your value.

Take this as a positive signs of you improving. But you have to control it and slow down the talking, and maintain good eye contact.
