If you got this girls number textes her, had her say she would Definetly go to lunch with you next week, texted a few days later for a date and time and got no response


then you find out she's had a bf for 2 months from someone else

I'd think she was into you at the moment you got her #. It's not hard to get a girl infatuated with you for a few moments when things are really good and you are building all that attraction. However, having that attraction in the moment...and her cooling off and seeing her BF again days later then deciding what to do about you is different. You two would have had to really made a connection. Since she's not responding she hasn't mentally decided to leave her BF time to NEXT her and move on.

All depends on if you want to pursue it.. Obviously she gave you her number for a reason and you can eventually get a hold of her and get her to hang out with you, I would personally cut connection with her but call her out with something like "obviously you have a boy friend, and if it doesnt work, then hit me up."
