This is why you make friends with her friends, not just her. If they like you, they'll want her to go back with you. Take away this idea that women don't want their women friends to have sex.

The "reason" is that you want to hang out with her. It's not complex. The tool, however, could be anything from a mutual interest in dance (hey, let's rehearse back at my place) to "homework help" to "hey, let's go back to my place for a couple drinks". Why are you trying to get immediate lays if the situation doesn't permit? You can certainly take her back to your dorm room, or you can get her number, go on a date, and end up at your dorm whenever you want. You're acting like sex is an opportunity that can't be missed, and has a bunch of rules and restrictions.
