I have a younger brother who is 16..
he is a very lazy kid..
he doesnt play any sport..
he doesnt go out with his friends..
he doesnt study his subjects..
i dont think he even has any close friends..
all he does is sit in front of the computer and watch movies and cartoons and japanese animated tv series, etc.

I fight with him a lot but i do care for him.. when i tried to explain him that he needs to go out and make friends also start a sport, he gets angry thinking that im trying to pin-point on his mistakes and weaknessess..

i jus wanna hep him..What am i to do?

i know people like that. it's impossible to make them do things they dont want to do. gonna have to accept them for who they are. he'll realize later in his life that in order to survive he needs people to rely on, there are things only family can do and some things only friends can do. but there will be a point when he'll be looking for a special girl in his life and he'll definitely come to you for wisdom and advice.

people will only change if they want to change.

I got at my little brother from a younger age!

Im 21 and he's 12

Ive played sport and done different hobbies with him every day for as long as I can remember.

We've built bike jumps, I take him to football try outs, we play sports, build slides in the rain, swim, jog, kayak, go to the beach together and he's even the best wingman in the world! when girls see us playing frisbee at the beach, he knows to throw it over in their direction!

Hes seen me pick up girls, and also seen me try and fail miserably! but I show to him that failure doesnt bother me and we actually laugh it off so much, that when I fail its even more fun for him to see.

He's probably the fittest kid in his grade and he keeps me fit and feeling young too!

Its a great friendship and its exciting watching him grow and being there to have a positive impact on his life.

A younger brother should be like a little sidekick, best friend, and yea... a brother!

Computer games really are the fuckin devil! I rank them up next to drugs as far as how harmful their addiction is on the persons life and their families also.

I dont know if its something your brother will just snap out of either. But Im not a psychologist. kids these days are getting raised by computers. So they wont know any different when they are older. Im really glad I sorta avoided them in my childhood. I have a mate who is extremely socially awkward and just plays WOW all day. No real life ambitions, no job, just leeching off his fuckin family. Im always the person to drag him out to the nightclubs or fishing when we go. He has NO game, but he comes and gets drunk with us and yea hes at least doing something different and being social once a week.

Try set a good role model for your brother, and get him to come along in the things you do. Dont pick on his negatives. Just ignore them for now, and focus on other fun things.

Find a realllyyy fun hobbie you both can just enjoy the crap out of for a while! Fuck it, it might cost lots, like buying a Kayak, but the quality time you will spend paddling out to an island and going fishing together (anything you both would find fun) will be worth it. It will open the door to a whole new way for him to start living life. With you there as his role model, being a great older brother.
