I am starting to realize my increased usage of profanity is hindering my luck with women. I swear like crazy. At this point, it's natural for me to include "fuck", "motherfuck", or "god damn" in every other sentence if I'm around people I know. Obviously I'm completely clean with strangers or people who I don't know too well, but as I grow more comfortable with someone I start letting the profanity fly. It makes me seem extremely immature and unintelligent. I need to stop.

Has anyone else had experience with dealing with this habit? I know it seems ridiculous that I am having trouble with something like this, but it really is more difficult to stop than it sounds. It's just so natural at this point.

wear a thick rubber band and whenever you cuss slap it against yourself in a painful way.

I always try to curse a little bit immediately with new woman, I find it an effective frame setting tool, but I don't take it too far.
