We all know girls are as shallow as guys, in that they get turned on by guys' looks, and will only shag a guy if they physically fancy him. They may have other boxes to tick in addition to physical attraction, but it's essential they like a guy's looks.

So why do they deny it so emphatically and compulsively? It seems like they're allergic to just being honest that yes, looks do matter to them to a certain extent. Instead they come out with all this bullshit about "I like guys for their personality", "I just want a guy who treats me nice" and the worst one "Just be yourself".

Why can't they just be honest and say "Yes, I do care quite a bit about looks, and some guys are automatically disqualified from ever shagging me because they're not good-looking enough"?

Just something I've always wondered. Are girls genetically programmed to constantly be shameless liars or something?


EDIT: Also, why do they droan on and on about being so obsessed with 'love', watch romantic comedies, think about flowers and say they'd love a guy to love her and sing love songs to her, but then in reality they go after selfish assholes just because they look sexy & manly, and sneer at the 'geeks' who offer them love? Love & romance is what they claim to be after, yet when offered it they reject it! :S Why are they always lying so damn much?! :@

of course they are shameless liars because it is easy for them. thats why they lie to guys that they can't meet up for some stupid reason instead of telling the truth - im not interested. but can't you really blame a girl for lying for that. she's a nice person, why would she try to hurt you, she doesnt even know you.

Us males condition females to be hesitant with regards to our approaches as most of us have attempted to get a very casual/sexual relationship with women before.

On the other hand, females condition us to be these chauvinistic "alpha males". We want sexy women and they want sexy guys with swagger and an assertive attitude. Nice, romantic guys generally don't get the girls and we all know that.

Put both of these cases of classical conditioning into fruition, and we have a VERY confusing and vicious cycle. We're both hurting each other. It's not just females who are guilty of acting a certain way.We drive them to be like that, just like they drive us to be a certain way (the fact that this forum exists is a perfect example).

Yeah I can understand why they might lie in real life (in order to appear 'nice' in front of real people) but why do they do it online where it's all anonymous? Yahoo Answers for example is FULL of lying girls telling loser guys that they should just 'be themself' and be nice to girls in hope that the 'right girl' will come along eventually. Don't these girls realise that these loser guys don't give a fuck about the 'right girl', they are pathetic virgins who just want ANY (decent-looking) girl, and are trying to find out straight from the horse's mouth the magical mysterious way(s) to just get into girls' pants?
Yes, excellent point! Horny (i.e. all) guys don't give a flying fuck about what girls want (unless they already have the girl), all they care about is what makes girls want them! So why do girls (even online) waste guys' time telling them what they want, when what the guy really wants to know is what makes the girl respond positively?
