Okay so a girl I went out with once invited me to her bday party. We continued talking on the phone and texting for a few weeks since we went out and tried to meet up after that, but our schedules always conflicted, so that's why we've only been out once so far. What do you guys think I should do about:

1. What should I get her as a gift?
2. How should I introduce myself to her friends/if friends ask how I know her? We met on facebook a long time ago, but we didn't actually meet up until recently and I feel like it's a social faux pas to say you met on facebook or even online.
3. Any general tips on how I should act at the party? Towards my target? Her friends? Possibly her parents? (not sure if they'll be there or not)

Sounds like fun yeah? Cool, I would get her a Barnes and Noble gift card for 20. That way you're not having to judge her personality as to what she likes and doesn't like. The book store has a book for anybody. Plus it makes you look classy!

Introduction: Be confident, keep chin up, lite smile when approaching, be excited, firm but not to firm handshake, and get to know the parents. Its okay to be shy; however, when you do speak, talk a little louder than usual, and don't stutter.

Tell true stories! Get to know everyone there, and make it a goal to approach and get to know everyone there. Male and females both. Ask even the simple questions like: Where you from? Where do you work? Do you snowboard? Because we should go sometime! Drew Barrymore or Lady Gaga?
