My ex broke up with me to become a friend with extra. That had a good run of about 7 months(we were friends friends with benefits that long, not in a relationship that long) then she got a boyfriend for a few months. The boyfriend thing didn't work out in the end, she broke up with him for whatever reason. I told her I was still up for being friends with benefits and she told me that she had to deal with "clingy" issues. She said she might get too attached. I want to know a) should I bother pushing it further and b)how should I do so without seeming like a jerk.
