I had this strange thought when I was watching some David D material today:

I think its possible that a lot of the really good PUAs e.g. Mystery, David D, and even some motivational speakers e.g. Anthony Robbins, read a whole lot of books on human psychology. This obviously boosted their intellect a whole lot which gave them a feeling of superiority. This superiority was translated into confidence which people can sense, hence making them successful with women and people.

I mean obviously the content of the books they read is MORE important in terms of giving their lives context and direction, but does anyone else think that the feeling of superiority their intellect gave them could be a significant factor. David D can't help but drop the name of a book every 6 seconds and Anthony Robbins admits that by his early 20s he had read 700 books on human psychology.

Anyone with me?...or am i about to get flamed hard haha

It's more like these guys have read 700 psychology books and understand interaction to a T. I don't think they feel superior. Especially Mystery, because he seems the type that craves attention. I believe a lot of these gurus feel confident that their methods and tactics will work, and that gives them their confidence. I'm with the above poster, make a bunch of approaches. You can either understand interaction, and/or be involved in them.

You don't have to understand why these methods attract women, you just have to do them.
