So next week I'm taking a girl on a second date since she's asked me to teach her to played pool. I'm actually a mediocre player, but I said yes since it'll be an opportunity for plentiful and playful physical contact. We made out on the first date, so I think there's a reasonable chance for an F-close this time around. I've been trying to cram pool tips and practice a lot for the last few days so I can make a reasonable showing, but this isn't my big worry; a few drinks, a few jokes, my hand at her waist and we're all good.

The problem is, some guys will be around who's genuinely really good will notice our "session" and jump in with "hey do you mind if I show you a few tips?" And if he's a charmer who sees such a weakspot, my intentions are in trouble! I can't brush him off without looking insecure or passive aggressive, but if he steals the show, I'll be sidelined as an inept fool.

Any suggestions gents?

don't take your ladyfriend to a place stacked with competition.
