There is this 19yo HB at the coffee shop across from where i work.. I've been going in there everyday gaming her slowly for 2 months now, about a week or so ago I finally asked her for her number and she gladly wrote it down. I tore off the other half of the paper and wrote down my info..

She had been giving me subtle IOIs for a while so I knew getting her number would be a walk in the park. Well I hadn't seen her in a week and just went in there today, noticed she was working but didn't start waving being a dweeb acting ridiculous. I just pretended she wasn't why I was there. A coffee and a muffin was.

When I got up to the counter she smiled at me wide eyed and didn't say a word for a few seconds (seemed like minutes). She asked playfully
"So I haven't gotten a call or a text!?"

I reply, "Were you expecting one so soon?"

She said, "Yes"..

I knew instantly she was hooked, but I didn't want to become weak and let my guard down.. I subtly apologized and told her that work has been busy and told her what days I have off. Turns out she has this Monday off and wants to do something fun.. But she isn't 21, and I'm kinda low on funds right now being before Xmas.

We texted back in forth earlier about a bunch of stuff from work to religion (ugh) she told me the guy she was recently hanging out with was really into God and reading the bible and that's cool but not really her thing. I replied..

"I'm into you"

She says back to me, ":) ooh really well nikkis into seeing happy feet 2 haha :p"

I told her "We'll see" and she sent back a smile..

Ah umm.. Should I go with this girl to that lame ass kids movie? We've never hung out ever on a date.. Would that be DLV, or would manning up and going be DHV. I've read different things about first dates, to steer clear of movie theaters because there's not much room for talking, building rapport..

Anybody got any ideas on how I should roll with this one, what to reply back to her..

The common misconception is that you must avoid movie dates.

WRONG WRONG WRONG.

It's not where you go, but WHAT YOU DO. Movie dates can be very painful for AFC's because you can't really talk.

I take girls to movies because I can get physical with them. The moment before we sit down, I will put the arm rest up, so that we can cuddle with each other.

You can do a movie, sure, that works. You can even see that kids movie. Who cares. Just make the date worthwhile, and not boring. Suggest when you meet or pick her up, start with some nice/friendly kino to get her warmed up. Or else it would be awkward if you go to the movies and immediately make your move when you had no prior physical contact.

After the movies if you want, you should go to a place of your choice, something more fun and cheap.
