Went out with a girl Sunday night, it went pretty well and we made out in her car afterwards. She's pretty cool and I'd like to date her.

But she's a first year law student in the middle of finals so she won't really be available again for another ten days or so.

So I need some texting advice in the meanwhile. (She said she read "The Game" so I'm wondering if she might recognize PUA tactics!)

I initiated the texting today (she's a little shy) kind of joking about her not going crazy with finals and how I had a fun time with her on Sunday. She responded about 15 min later about how she's really stressed out but trying to keep a perspective but that she had a fun time too.

I texted her back saying that my dog was a big stress reliever for so she naturally asked what kind he was. I texted back with a picture and she responded with a a couple of hearts, so I figured that was a decent ending to the exchange.

If you guys have any advice on or guidelines on what and what not to text to hold her interest, please fire away!

well now she's texting on and on about how much she loves dogs. No idea where do go with this.

Girls shouldnt recognize pickup tactics.. Because you shouldn't be reading books looking for the exact things to say to her. You should seek to understand the concepts behind what you want to accomplish with your texting, and then it will show when you text you don't need to memorize any lines. I recommend checking out B4UTXTHER or Braddock's guide to text and phone game.. both are great and will help you out.

In the mean time, she's busy with finals - text her very little between now and when you next see her in person. You are a busy guy too (right?) if you already set up a second date and you know she's busy, theres really no need to be texting her anything. And if she texts you, just respond as you normally would but no need to try to carry on a conversation really.. This ambiguity will pay off when you spend time with her.. For starters you can talk about how busy your week was too, so theres endless conversation points right there. Also you just generally want to give the vibe that you are too busy for her anyway. So unless you are looking at a text you are about to send this week, and you can say with certainty that it is 1)fun and lighthearted 2)a response to something she said 3)driving towards seeing her next in person, then you should just not send anything

I say this an awful lot but, Don't worry about texting her, just call her and arrange rl hangouts.

Try a day time date, walk or coffee. If night's the only available time, go out and get a food at a restaurant either of you have been to, then go for a stroll
