I have just realized by recent experience that over analytical nature can lead to
1 approach anxiety
2 giving too much importance
3 loss of natural game
Hence I need to get rid at all cost
I have read of a method to concentrate on breathing and on doing what you are currently doing , still I am having limited success. What are some of the methods you have employed to get rid of over analytical nature.

yeah that shall solve the problem of approach anxiety, but I am looking for a solution to the root problem - to remove over analytical nature in general.

What newport suggested would still work, because if you talk to every single person you walk by, eventually, eventually you're going to be in the moment and just talking to them, not analyzing anything, if you make this a habit, you can train your subconscious.

this is the problem with pua, i have met lots of pu students and this is gonna be hard to hear for some of you but 99.9% of guys who learn this at seminars or books or online are usually either a geek or a nerd! i admit it but im not ashamed of it. the flaw in learning anything if you are either a geek or nerd is you analyse way too much. think about this when a jock or rockstar or cool guy gets blown out at a bar or nightclub or where ever they go for a hook-up do they go what went wrong? or where can i find another one?
a geek or nerd will start to analyse it like a mathetical equation: well i did this, was that right or wrong? was what i said right or wrong? how was my tone? then i did this? and so on!!!
yes to do the same thing and expect a different result is incorrect but to analyse it to death will drive you insane. sadly everybodys different what works for girl 1 dont work for girl 2.

yeah I have asked this question 3-4 times on this forum, and every time got a vague answer so I could make out that most here face this.
So this should then be an important point to be taken care of - most here would have done something to tackle it, as solving this sky rockets your PUA skills, I read some where that thinking positive is 80% PUA. Of course that involves first stopping mental chatter. I face this issue, but since most face it I am not ashamed to admit it and looking for some of the methods to solve it. I have researched and applied following methods to limited success:
1. Concentrate on breathing.
2. Have your focus on 1 thing, which you can internally verbalize repeatedly. Usually an affirmation.
3. Any negative thought or rather any thought to be immediately replaced by some pleasant experience like you being on beach.
4. Believing everything currently is better than what you could have expected. As most of these thoughts are related to personal or life issue which we believe exist.
With 1-4 chatter stops, now for thinking positive make sure every thought is a new thought which you never thought before, once you get a creating mind working, all those new thoughts can be replaced by positive thoughts.

These though require lot of self discipline. What could be some other methods which are workable.
