So basically it all started when i met this chick at the movie theater. I'm 18 and shes 17. I originally went with my bro and friend, and this girl knew my friend so her and her friend joined us to the movie. while waiting in line we talked a little and everything went smoothly but i wasnt expecting anything to happen. after the movie she added me on facebook and we talked there and got to know each other some more. we went on a couple dates, but by the second date we skipped most of the bases and were feeling comfortable with each other. We got to the point where it was obvious we liked each other and should have been boyfriend/girlfriend but i told her i don't like to label things so to not make anything permanent i told her no names and to just stay how we are. so finally the last date we were on, everything went perfect; we ate then went to my car and it became sexual once again. everything was good until it got really late and she didnt hear any of the missed calls on her phone. she got home and luckily her parents were in a chill mood and everything went good. we finally figured that the parents didnt suspect anything and we were good until the parents read all our conversations one day and basically took everything away from her and if she talked to me again, i dont know what would happen. so she let me know and decided that she loves her parents more then me which is normal, so she stopped talking to me and that was it. However, few months later slowly she texted me once, then messaged me like 2 times but that was about it, didnt really last. finally i saw her at a party one day, but didnt talk to her the whole time. in the end she just came up to me, hugged me and left. after that i began a convo online with her and we started slowly talking again.

By little details, i can tell she definitely thinks about me and misses me and still likes me. but does it seem like she should be trying harder if she truly wants to get back together or should i be the one to prove to her i miss her too? Basically, overall what's the best thing to do?

Ring her up, ask her if she wants to hang out. So easy, i don't know what magical solution people are looking for.

Only problem though, is her parents still have her on strict lock down and if they find out were talking again, it'll most likely get a lot worse

To be honest, her parents are her problem. You can just do what you can to keep talking to her. She's got to handle her parents.
