I am interested to know if what you wear makes much of difference in helping or hindering a new PUA...

For example is it better to wear colourful polo top on a night out as opposed to mixing with the crowd typically wearing white shirt, black trousers etc...?

Also, I am 28.. And I wondered if Diesel is a good brand.. I usually prefer girls 18-21 years old, so I guess fashion matters to them right?

Any suggestions let me know.

I'm 30. Diesel is an okay brand. First off, polo style shirts aren't okay to be worn out like that. They are classic okay for casual wear around doing things but going out. NO! Here is the thing make sure that the brands and labels you are wearing match your age. If something is "trendy" with the 18-21 crowd chances are you shouldn't be wearing it. Dress well...but look and act your age!

I've said it before and I'll say it again if you can't pick up in jeans and a t-shirt then all the peacocking and fancy clothes in the world won't matter. That being said when you do dress well women notice!

I'm 28 too. I've decided to never go out without a tie. So far it has been a lot of fun. I usually where some bring over the top button up. Like bright teal, red, pink, purple. Then a tie that matches (not a flat color).

I want to stick out from the crowd, but not in a "WTF?!" kind of way. And with the way I dress, I can stick out at sports bars or if the night takes me to a club, I'm still good to go.

Problem is it is expensive to get a big enough wardrobe of button ups and ties. But, I feel in love with the fitted shirts at express.

And, I agree with JSmooth - no on polos.

Dude I love that dressy casual after 5pm look like you just got off work. Sleeves rolled up part ways, loose top button, loose tie. That's what I'm talking about.

As long as you have nice, well-fitted clothes and they aren't dirty and smelly then it doesn't matter too much I find.

Personally I have fun experimenting with peacocking and in the past I've really gone to town with the necklaces, rings and other stuff like that. I dress in a way that conveys sexuality and confidence, because I'll wear things that introverted guys who don't get laid wouldn't dare to wear.

Sometimes I can't be bothered and I'll go smart shirt, nice jeans and leather shoes. Does the job.
