Looking for recommendations on turning one night stand into Friends with Benefits or Fuck Buddy.

Last Tuesday me and a friend run into his FB and her roommate out at a bar. Both are HB8. We chat it up with them for maybe 10 minutes but then they go hang out with their group of friends that are there. We play it cool all night, while all their old HS friends are trying to sack them. Eventually we go back to their place and I f-close with no LMR. Neither of us have had that much to drink either.

The next morning we mess around a little bit but don't have sex again because I don't have a condom. She does say she wishes she didn't have to work so she could make me food, and also that it's to bad I don't have another condom or else...

As I'm leaving I nonchalantly ask for her number and then go. Shes 19, I'm 28. 3 days later I text her.

Me:Hey *nickname*! It's bobby from tuesday night. Please just stop it.
HB: haha what's up dude stop what!?
Me: stop texting me. you hate texting. (she told me the other night that she hates texting)
HB: haha yeahh...unless it's you! what are you gettin into tonight?
Me: just having a few drinks, what trouble are you causing tonight?

Then I got no response.

So next night i text her once and get no response.

So next night I call her ass and she answers. We talk for a few minutes and I tell her she is going out with me tonight. I make a mistake and say I bet you have school early tomorrow, she doesn't take the out but instead says she doesn't have work or school or anything to do tomorrow and is totally down to go out. After another minute of banter she says she is gonna see what her roommates wanna do and she will call me back.

damn girl seems so keen by the text a couple nights ago and then by even answering my call and also saying she is totally down to go out. but then she flakes and i don't get a call back.

I think maybe I didn't build enough comfort since we talked very little at the bar??? We did however talk a decent bit at her place before the f-close and then the next morning so i'm not really sure were i'm f-in this up right now.

what should I do at this point? just forget about it and if she calls me then lucky for her?

I'd say, give it some time. She might be worried that you want something more with how soon you texted and the back to back times. I've got a girl roomie and she bitches about that all the time of how her one nights want to hangout all the time. I'd say give it a few days then try to reengage.

Be careful of open ended questions like "What are you doing tonight?". Instead, "Hey, we're heading to xyz. Meet us there."
