I was just curious as to if you guys ever try to pick up bartenders, cocktail waitresses etc. and what you say to them?

It not about what you say to them. It's about being very social. Get the know the bouncer, bartender, bathroom man, etc... As soon as you walk in, they know you.

It's too much effort... And they're trained in saying no.

I was out with a female friend last night at a pretty nice place and there was this little cocktail waitress HB9 walking around clearing off tables. She had the nastiest look on her face, but she gave me a little look and a small smile. Working in the bar business before I know what the girls are like and I never messed around with HG's but man it just felt wrong not saying something to her.

Flirting with them straight off the bat is a no!

I was talking to a barmaid the other night at a club, since it was a quiet night, we had plenty of time. I was just being social and teasing her. You don't want to look like every other drunk guy coming up to her to hit on her because she gets this all the time. I think it was possible for me to meet up with her after closing time. She told me she finishes at 4am but the club closes at 3am. I wasn't waiting that long.

Anyway she kept looking over at me when I went to dance or was walking around the club. Would always catch her gaze. I know I did something right, and it was fair to say she was interested in me.
