Last week I got this girl’s number who is nearly 10 years younger than me (she is 18/19). As it wasn’t a number close that I really cared about, I thought I just want “a bit of fun” with her and could use this as an opportunity for practice.

I text her the day after getting her number and the conversation was as follows:


Me: 13.37 Nice meeting u on the train yesterday. So what trouble have you been causing today
HB: 19.00 Just work uno I forgot my phone at home been lost without all day. How are you anyway? X
Me: 20.42 My day was ok thanks but a bit sad, u? Is it ….(her name) by the way lol
HB: That’s good nd awww why? Mine was good thanks. It’s ….. x
Me: 20.51: etc etc So (her name), tell me something about urself
HB: 21.04 Aww bless yah Hmm…Ask me a question I find it hard to talk about myself :$
Me: 21.21 Awww are u shy then? U didn’t strike me as the shy kind
HB: 01.49 Nah not really just don’t know hw to talk about myself haha. X

Next evening

Me: 17.34 Hiya, ok tell you what, I ask you something and if you answer honestly u can ask me anything lol
HB: 18.53 Yh that’s ok, ask away haha x
Me: 19.18 What’s the best thing about u
HB: 19.36 Hmmm my personality x
Me: 20.12 Awww lol. Are u naughty or nice
HB: 20.19 Haha hmmm depends on the situation. X
Me 20.27 Hmmm what situation is that then lol


This was the day before yesterday and she hasn’t replied. Given her responses, shall I proceed in a less flirty manner and just try to arrange to meet up with her, or try even harder to turn it sexual firstly?

What would you text her to re-initiate the conversation?

The first paragraph she knew you were asking her to qualify herself for you, thats why she said "i dont know how to talk about myself" (trust me she does lol)
Paragraph two you never did what you said, your supposed to take control of txting but you actually have to let her speak too.
Use text to set up dates, and micro attraction.

The answer in case you're wondering is firetruck lol. Was going for a humorous intro but this appears to have been to no avail as it's been nearly 3 hours later and she hasn't responded.

So far, this appears to be on the verge of collapse, and whilst I was only using this for practice/potential fun, it is disappointing nonetheless (more so with myself lol!).

I’m thinking I will probably have one final crack tomorrow where I try and start a normal conversation with her and set up a date. Trying the sexual escalation now would probably be a waste of time.
